I don't require a sales team application with integrations and the like. Looking for something searchable in detail to keep track of client activity, such as call or meeting notes.
Any suggestions on a good customer relationship software tool?

You've got to check out Zoho CRM. They even have a free plan, you can use an app to manage contacts, and take notes of meetings and calls. Very well done. If you need integrations later it can easily handle it.
